As far as I am aware, you’d be on very sticky ground there with the police, especially as, technically, they are not threatening or attacking you..?!
But as I’m not a lawyer, it’s difficult to say with accuracy.
With the way the UK law is at the moment, I would of thought that even if you look at them funny, you’d be the one getting arrested!!!
Maybe asking the police for advice, or if anyone here can help, that would be good.
