Practicing your skills before the event can be achieved by finding a local archery club that conducts field archery days. No live targets but the nearest you will get to practice while staying within the existing laws.

My wife won’t even eat anything I have brought home…
I think the main thing is, at the very least, having a good knowledge of how to go about actually tracking and then knowing how to be able to go right through to the cooking process.
