The Unbearable Truth For Non Preppers (part 1) Intro

The Unbearable Truth For Non Preppers   (part 1) Intro

The UK public are wofully unprepparred for when the SHTF

Occasionally I get annoyed to the point where I want to bang my head against the wall when I see the way so many people are just so unwilling to prep.

How they do not understand the basic principles behind prepping is beyond me.

non preppers sheeple

I have even got into arguments with these foolish Sheeple (the non prepping people who are no more than sheep) - these Sheeple seem to think I am mad simply because I make a point of storing food and water supplies, and survival equipment.
It is surely not just me, is it? Am I really the mad one?
These are not stupid people either, or low in income or struggling financially. .
They just don't get it.

I have been meaning to write the Unbearable Truth For Non Preppers for a while now.

So, in this article I shall be dealing with, what I think are the actual real life realities of a post SHTF scenario and just how bloody difficult, dangerous and plain unbearable life would be like for a non prepper.

I will list the basic realities you can expect to face as one of the many non preppers who have failed to prep.

Remember my Sheeple friends, you are very much on your own and if you expect any self respecting prepper to come along and share their hard earned stores with you - then think again.

As good as preppers are, your failure is not theirs and every little bit of food, water and supplies they 'hand out' to you means less for their family.

It will be a true dog eat dog world, and the preppers will be the big dogs.

But we are not all animals and if you want help now, there are thousands of UK Preppers out there to give you advice and help on how to be a successful prepper.

So You Think There's No Need To Prep?

Our world is slowly decaying, but we fail to really look at what is actually going on.
We are fed with constant lies and cover ups to keep us all calm and under control.
Government would rather we had a melt down over the latest controversy about the some X Factor winner rather than take a deeper look into exactly what the latest cover-ups are that we are being fed by our 'Big Brother' politicians.

non preppers

We find it easier to just push all the really worrying stuff under the carpet. Choosing not to believe it could ever happen in their lifetime.
So rather than deal with personal SHTF event and get yourself prepared - *the loss of a job could easily be your personal SHTF scenario, you choose to ignore it.
Carrying on believing you will get assistance, even without a job, has you sitting in a bubble of confidence saying 'you'll be OK'..... Until that day when its not just a personal SHTF, it hits the masses.
Don't expect any assistance then.

More and more it is becoming a case of IF and not WHEN there is a mass SHTF, something that effects the masses and is strong enough to put the human race into a SHTF event.

When that sort of event happens - everyone needs help.

If you haven't prepared in advance, what is going to happen to you and your family?

Do you really want to be snuffling around in bins for bits of food and supplies?

Food and water are really high up on your average preppers supply list and even having only a few months of supplies is no where near enough for any prepper. Supplies of long shelf life, basic foods are the essential mainstay of a preppers larder store, being increased whenever possible.

But what does the average non prepper have to hand? Next to nothing that would help them through the first few weeks of a crisis let alone anything long term.

The unbearable truth for any non prepper is, your going to starve, simple as that. What little supplies you have in your larder cupboard, fridge and freezer will be gone before you know it!

Good luck on that one sheeple.......

Good job done as usual, on a well put together series of articles………and unfortunately TOTALLY WASTED on anyone who’s a non prepper. Yes, i prep as much as finances will allow, and its a regular habit. I’ve still got a long way to go, but i am still YEARS ahead of the sheeple. Point of example id like to share though.

Last night…..Saturday November 7th 2015, i was round some friends. VERY VERY dear friends…..who i think the world of. I had only been in the door for 5 minutes when BANG……their whole power went out, EVERYTHING………..the whole neighbourhood. SPONTANEOUS POWERCUT, and no knowledge of what caused it. They couldn’t boil water, no lights, no fridge or freezer……couldn’t even find the coffee mugs, my mate’s daughter was panicking……..her i-phone was nearly dead, she couldn’t charge it up to get on Facebook, did’nt want to be in the dark upstairs getting changed in case of spiders…… and she couldn’t see to take her contact lenses out. My mates world fell apart because the TV went off during a Louis Van Gaal interview, and he proceeded to light his candles (positioned all year for the permanent Christmas effect, NOT for a SHTF scenario ) and my mate’s wife was getting worked up because her other daughter (who was unaffected 10 miles away with 2 children)……..couldn’t be contacted by phone to see if the kids were ok, and her mobile was off. TOTAL PANIC……..lasting a total of 18 minutes………panic over trivial things…….panic over things too late to worry about happening NOW.

I of course…….with my EDC bag, and from the START of the power cut, reached in to it to get my torch and other stuff needed for the moment. When the power came back on 18 minutes later, i reminded my mates family that this is WHY i carry an EDC bag…….for moments like THIS……and why i stock up on stuff that they laugh at. This is why i carry stuff…….because you CAN’T rely on THE UNPREPARED to supply you with ANYTHING……… except their NEED for what YOU’VE GOT. I expanded on the wisdom of prepping………and using their power cut as an example and how it affected them for 18 minutes, i asked if they now understood the REALITY of SHTF scenarios, and how they could be a LOT….. LOT….. WORSE next time…..and FOR LONGER.

ANSWER WAS……….the SAME 8 WORDS i always hear…..”Yeah but…….that will never happen will it?”. Yeah right……..explain the last 18 minute rehearsal of panic over nothing, and the worry over what you’ve NEGLECTED to possess, to make sure someone was safe. Apart from the candles………and my EDC bag, they exemplified basic FAILURE……..UNPREPAREDNESS…….and unfortunately…….their mindset from our discussion says they’ll do it again tomorrow.

    Good article.
Have to agree there UK Prepper, most people I talk to haven’t got a clue. They are interested for a short while but normally finish by saying, well if I’m going to die then I’m going to die’.
I personally don’t worry to much about the others who don’t prep. Up to them.
I prep because I like it. Its a great hobby and gives me a bit of confidence in my ability to ride out any storm.
After a SHTF situation I would be very choosy who I called my neighbors!!!!!.
Most non preppers wouldn’t last a month before they were beating down doors.

This site is generally good but this article is a non-hitter for me. It appears to me the author is defending his stance as a prepper. But who to? It is peppered with bad grammar, spelling and contains no information at all. The author writes, “More and more it is becoming a case of IF and not WHEN there is a mass SHTF”. Surely it is the other way round? It also appears that whoever wrote this has recently been mocked by a non-prepper as the article in general summarises, to me anyway that the writer is saying, “I have a stock of supplies, so for those people who have laughed at me for prepping, don’t come running to me WHEN the SHTF!” Surely when the world does go wonky us preppers will be able to see out the hard part. But we should also realise that no matter how much we prepare there will come a point where society will need to reintegrate and come together after any SHTF event. Your neighbour is not the enemy. We should be reaching out to non-preppers, not ostracising ourselves from them. I am a fan of uk preppers guide but this article says to me what every prepper shouldn’t be.

Can’t agree with you at all..!
This article reads very well and is the introduction to the realities of a possible SHTF.
Reading the article several times over I still can’t agree……

      Hi Ottzi,
Think you have read far to much into it. It reads well, flows well and makes perfect sense to me.

I also think you’ve got the wrong end of the stick. He’s NOT defending his stance as a prepper…..he’s highlighting a mindset and a discipline that all preppers need to keep in mind. That all preppers can become victims…..of their own lack of discipline, and i hate to disagree with you…..YOUR NEIGHBOUR too. Because when he’s DESPERATE…… your neighbour IS your enemy, and will gladly take what you’ve got when you can’t afford to share any more. UK prepper, has got a multitude of information, blogs and articles that ARE HIGHLY relevant to a UK prepper, and informative…….IRRESPECTIVE of the punctuation or grammar nott meeting with approval. If you look at the US prepping sites…….and i mean no offense to our American prepping friends…….it’s all about GUNS….GUNS…..GUNS…….AMMO……PISTOLS…..Automatic rifles…..BACK UP weapons……….and GUNS……GUNS…..GUNS. How to holster them….hide them on your persons

UK Preppers site condenses everything down into what’s REALISTIC for our laws and geographical locale…..WHAT WE are able to prep into our personal inventories without being prosecuted for. Because believe it or not……..our laws, and those who enforce them……really really don’t give a monkeys toss WHY you have it in your possession……..or that your’e prepping to save your community. If it’s on their list of No-No’s……..your’e a criminal, or a terrorist. Even if you intend to save a Police officers life…..your’e still in the wrong for having it. So i think it’s unfair to say “its a matter of IF, NOT WHEN” the SHTF. Because every day….we are getting closer to that breakdown that we all prep for………The migrant crisis…….Islamic State……. Home grown converted Jihadists …….laws swinging in from Brussels to dictate the British way of life, and its weak…weak treatment of the DANGEROUS amongst us……the Police upholding STUPID….STUPID laws for what you say to another person. TRUST ME…….and Steve……it’s getting closer every day. And it’s comforting to know that i don’t have to sit in front of a solicitor to ask him for this advice or knowledge, because he wouldn’t know either…….even as he took his fee.

And that’s the whole point of prepping and UK Preppers site…..to be covertly prepared for whatever it is that breaks the camels back, and as knowledgeable as you CAN BE with something that you can use later on down the road after the SHTF. UK Prepper is passing on advice, knowledge, and ideas for YOU to choose what’s right for you. And lets face it…..that’s 100% MORE than what our political leaders do isn’t it? I’ll leave it to your imagination and memory as what our Prime Minister has used pigs for. At least UK prepper reminds us that IT’S FOOD………and that your “too- lazy -to- prep” neighbour that you want to reach out to…….or your “too reliant on corrupt Political leaders coming to their rescue” neighbour……….would GLADLY cut your throat for what’s YOURS. And the sad part is, they’d still sleep well.

Just look at the migrants in those camps in Europe,,,,,,,all for their selves when they’re pushed. How bad do things have to be when Syrian wives left behind in Syria……go on TV and accuse their LONG, LONG departed husbands of cowardice for leaving them behind and saving theirselves. Leaving them with NO ONE to take care of them or their kids. People do unthinkable things when desperate……and you don’t HAVE to be Syrian in this country to behave like one. So UK preppers right to REMIND us that people will COME-A-KNOCKIN.
