just wanted to say for the benefit of any newbie’s on here, when storing your tins don’t forget to “rotate,rotate,rotate”- put the new tins at the Back of the shelf, and use the old tins first from the Front of the shelf. “store what you eat and eat what you store”-buying stuff you don’t normally eat, even if its on offer, is a false economy, it’ll get stuck at the back of the shelf and never get eaten. and try to buy your tins in different shops and from different batches-that way if there is a fault in the canning you don’t lose all your stored food in one go.
