UK Prepping Facts

UK Prepping Facts

fact tattoo on fistToday I want to share some prepping facts with you.

Nothing too fancy, just some simple figures to give you an idea of the way prepping is going in the UK today.

As you may well know, the UK Preppers Guide website has been up and running for just over two years now.

A relatively short while compared with some prepping sites. Especially the American prepping sites, who have been around for donkeys years.

I would say that technically the British have been prepping for far longer than our American friends.

Our introduction to real prepping came during the war years, where food and supplies rationing were at their peak.

british rationing for uk preppers guide Everyone knew how to make things last. How to mend and make do and how to feed their families using the very basics of ingredients (something sadly lacking nowadays).

Everyone was a prepper then.

However, during the 60s, 70s 80s and even the 90s, some 40 years on, the art of prepping and surviving some how got lost.

But, it would appear, since the turn of the millennium there has seen a huge upturn in the interest in learning how to survival, especially during a major disaster situation, regardless of how it may occur.

Now, as we are some 15 years on from there we see a world wide interest in prepping.

I can back that up with actual statistics from this site which have been gained over the last few year.

UK Preppers Guide website statst

As we stand today, the UK Preppers Guide website has gone from a humble 50 readers a month to a massive 54,000 unique visitors turning to the website for help and information on prepping and survival.

Thats every month, with 95% of these visitors coming from the UK. What 2015 has in store will be interesting for sure.

What does this tell us?

You can’t argue with those figures, and it sure as hell tells me you are not alone in your concerns for this country and the future of our world.

People are not idally standing around doing nothing – people, and thats you and me, are seeking out information and the facts that will help keep you alive when disaster strikes.

Our country needs preppers.

If you’re one of them – then good on you. It’s a massive movement of people, quietly going about their daily lives whilst diligently making sure they have enough supplies, equipment and skills to face the unknown future.

Keep going – you just never know what’s around the corner.
