The 6th Bushcraft Magazine May Bank Holiday Meet
A Show Not To Missed....
On the weekend of the first May Bank Holiday, May 1-4, 2015, the Bushcraft Magazine is holding its sixth annual gathering in Egerton, near Ashford in Kent.
The May Meet is a great opportunity to book in for a long weekend of courses and a chance for bushcrafters and adventurous families to share skills and swap stories in a friendly, chilled atmosphere.
You can camp overnight from Friday for a full programme of activities over the weekend and Bank Holiday Monday; events, tutorials and demonstrations for all the family and for all levels of skill.
Gather round the fire in the evening for storytelling and, weather permitting, star-gazing afterwards. Bring your own food or make use of our on-site catering.
Pitch a tent or a tarp and hammock in the woods.
Activities include; archery, atlatl (throwing spears) making, catapults, charcoal burning, green woodworking, backyard blade-smithing, blacksmithing, flint knapping, knife sharpening, shelter building, children’s bushcraft and outdoor games, wild food foraging, outdoor cookery, Merlin staff making, game prep and a host of others and are all included in the price.
In addition there will be stands selling both introductory and essential kit for novice and advanced bushcrafter alike.
