In this article I review and test the VSSL Survival Equipment Tube. A modern day equivalent to the old fashioned survival tin.
Although the survival tin is a good solid method for compact outdoors and survival equipment, it was about time someone came up with a solid alternative that works.
* Basic Survival Requirements
In any emergency survival situation you wont get far without some specific equipment to help you keep alive. In fact, it's pretty obvious that without any survival equipment you greatly increase your chances of not being found.
So it just makes sense to always have something with you that does the job in an emergency.
Always consider the Survival Rule Of 3s, and apply them immediately you are in any sort of a situation that could become a dangerous situation.

VSSL Outdoors Utility Tools
VSSL offer 4 different types of outdoor utility tools, all cased in 20" x 2" anodised aluminium canister. The canister is fully water tight with 'O' ring seals to the main rims.

This is definitely very well thought out kit, with essential survival gear of good quality.
