Best Budget Fixed Blade Survival Knife For Prepping
It takes a lot for me to get excited about a knife these days: I have seen a lot of them and reviewed and played around with both cheapies and expensive hand crafted knives, and essentially, they are all capable of doing similar jobs. It just depends on how you treat them...
However, there comes a time when you need to abuse a knife and really see if it can perform up to standards it says it can.?
Now I have been sent the HX Outdoors "Rock" knife for review. I get to keep the knife whether I like it or not. Which is nice, but not the reason for giving it a glowing review and making out it is something special.
If I test it and it fails, then so be it. Proves it's not up to standard. However, if it outperforms my expectation, I'll say so.​
But the main feature of this survival knife is that it fits into the budget knives range, in fact it costs under £28 and that includes delivery to the UK.
So, I hear you saying: "How can a £28 knife really be ​any good? And I agree, as I thought exactly that when I received it!
But take the time to watch my review video, and I somehow think you'll be changing your mind on that one........​

I have one. Its build quality and finish is very good. Built like a tank with a strong, thick, full tang D2 blade which came with good factory sharpness. Sheath and accessories are genuinely useful. A great budget knife for bush crafting and camping.
